For Christmas this year we bought Connor a fish tank and some fish. About a month ago I bought him a few more fish for his collection. All fish we were told were Male. Well guess what??? We have babies!! Jacob went to feed the fish tonight and announced that we are the proud parents of around 10 baby fish. They are small and move quick so I couldn't count them all. I counted 7 for sure but I know that I wasn't able to see them all. I think maybe we have had them for several days now. Connor usually feeds the fish and he must have just not noticed them because they are a pretty good size now, for baby fish that is.

The total count is 10 this morning. I fed them and almost all of them came to the top to eat. They are looking pretty healthy! Anyone need a few fish?

Babies are exciting! The fish are what is called Black Molly's. My adults are about the size of a goldfish and are pure black. I don't think we will name them since I can't even properly count them and considering I thought I had 2 males naming them might not be a good idea unless we name them all like Pat and Jamie. lol. I'd post a picture but I don't think my flash would work well against the glass. ;)
Right now they are about the size of anchovies so I guess you could put them on pizza, but I HATE anchovies! YUCK!
