We came home to this in our driveway. This big fella was hanging out in the muddy ruts of the driveway. And as big snappers usually are... it wasn't too friendly. It jumped about a foot when Jacob tried to move it along with a stick. I knew it would snap but never expected it to jump that far.
My brother-in-law Francis I think is about to start a zoo for little creatures at his house. Maybe We should take it to him. :)

He has three small ponds so he has turtles also but he just hasn't seen one of them yet.

For your info the zoo was actually here before we came and no we do not want your snapping turtle. But you are so nice to offer. Maybe it would be nice of me to offer to bring some of our new friends to your house? Hehehe!
